Day 609: Kind of too much...
Nov. 15th, 2021 11:55 pmI'm finally getting a new phone. It's a real pain and no longer reliable to charge the battery for my old phone, which might really be an "old phone" since it looks like I got it in 2010. The new phone, which will probably arrive on Thursday won't fit nicely into my pocket, though. I'm not sure what to do about that, besides sewing new, larger, pockets into all my pants? Hm. J's getting the same phone too, so he'll be able to teach me how to do stuff with it.
Anyway, after that I went to the symphony happy hour and learned about the Brahms piano concerto, which now seems much more interesting than it did before. Then I went back to the game store, said hi to J, and chatted with DG for almost half an hour; they were doing the Magic prerelease still, and DG had a bye round because there was an odd number of players. Then I bought groceries, then came home and worked on cleaning up the whole deck area for the deck guys, who are coming tomorrow. (I was expecting more warning, but their email is messed up - they emailed a bunch of clients on Friday but none of us got the messages.) Then I wrapped J's nephew's birthday present. Now I'm quite worn out, although objectively that doesn't seem like a lot of work. Maybe it's part of my allergy breathing problem, being so short of energy.
