Day 603: Nicely grey Tuesday

eve_primeToday I seemed to be recovering from my fourth migraine since October 1, while wondering about allergies as a migraine trigger and whether my breathing issues have advanced to asthma or what. I also fretted about my phone's failure, as it wouldn't even turn on, but maybe I wasn't pressing the "on" button long enough, because a few minutes ago it finally did turn on? Now the idea of spending a bunch of my birthday standing around the Verizon store is just optional, not mandatory.
I did feel better than yesterday, despite the breathing challenges. I got more reading done while J. was at sword class, and I watched him play Storybook Brawl a bunch.
Also, I got a letter from my sister, who mentioned that she and her husband are recovering from a virus that robs you of your senses of taste and smell. Her husband's gotten his back, but she's still waiting. I'm glad they're vaccinated so that it was just an inconvenience! He's a mail carrier so there's a good potential for exposure there; she just stays home, pretty much.
