Day 563: Sunny Friday

eve_primeToday I went to campus for G's lab meeting (outdoors). We sat around and chatted for an hour, then I stopped by the library to get a book that ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
solri had recommended, which had come in for me. When I got home, D. had finished his Friday class, which isn't yet teaching (that's next Friday). He hung around a while longer then headed off to do the housesitting for R, which I mentioned a couple weeks ago. If he'd waited another hour, J. could have driven him and he'd arrive around the same time, but he said it didn't matter - he could do exactly the same thing on the bus as he'd do if he were at the house, which I think was just playing his DS and looking at his phone. I hope he won't be too bored! He'll come back by bus in the morning for his work shift, so I'll see him mid-day.
This week's Friday evening movie was Beetlejuice, which won by one vote over Rocky Horror Picture Show. Alec Baldwin looked so young, and I'd entirely forgotten that Catherine O'Hara was the step-mother.
