Day 525: Cooler, still

eve_primeThis must be one of the mildest Augusts in the history of Eugene. Today, by the time I was ready to read outside, it was so cool (and breezy) that I wasn't comfortable in the shade of J's yard and returned to a spot in full sun, in my own. I even added a pullover sweater around 7 pm.
I'd woken up tired again, with a slight headache, so I ended up not joining J. and DG for dinner at the Taphouse, unfortunately. Instead I took things easy and focused on staying comfortable. I watched a Monk episode, in which Steven Weber played a particularly heinous D.J., and later I watched American Ninja Warrior. My favorite ninja-warrior isn't competing this year, but there are lots of great athletes to root for.
