Day 513: Productive!

When I woke up today, I discovered that the NYT's Ezra Klein had pretty much handed me a blog post topic, so I dashed that off and left myself 30 minutes to get dressed, feed all the cats, etc., before the second fence guy came to meet with me, as the first guy's bids were pretty high. Unfortunately they'd told him to be here half an hour earlier than they'd told me he'd be here - oh well. The upside was that I had two major accomplishments done before lunch. I then had time to make a risotto, drive to the library to return the Stephenson book, and read three papers. Then I made a bit more progress on the blackberry vines, and we went to Safeway, and I finally got to shower. So much done!

It got up to 93° or so today, but there was a nice breeze, and the forecast for tomorrow is hotter, so we made the best of it.
