Day 497: Frazzlement

eve_primeUnfortunately, D. had another unusually stressful work incident today. Not an explosion with a fireball this time, thankfully, but worse in the sense that it's not necessarily over. A woman who works in the supermarket bakery with him has an angry, obviously drug-influenced ex who wanted to see her today. She wasn't there, so instead he was harassing and to some extent stalking her boss, who was pretty stressed about it all. It got to the point that the management was using code on the sound system to let them know whenever he was spotted in the store again, so that she (the bakery manager) could go hide and D. could tell the guy that she wasn't available. The guy was there three times by the time D. was able to come home for lunch (much delayed). The guy was also driving crazily fast on the cross street, so they called the cops about that. Ugh.
Tomorrow the woman with the ex was scheduled to work in the bakery by herself, and we were thinking D. might have to work on his day off to give her some backup there, but instead the bakery manager has to work her shift for her. I hope both women will be okay, and I hope nothing like this will happen on D's Tuesday and Wednesday shifts either! He has Thursday (his birthday) off. Well, really, I hope it's all over by now.
