Day 477: D's job hunt, again

eve_primeAs I mentioned a while back, D. was hoping to get a job at our neighborhood Safeway, and he'd spoken with a woman there who was interested in him. But he hadn't heard back, so today when we were buying our groceries, and she was our checker, I asked about it. She mentioned various positions they were hiring for and asked his name, and when I told her, her face completely lit up, and she dashed away to the office to schedule an interview with him for tomorrow afternoon! Naturally he's excited and nervous now. I hope he sleeps well!
Meanwhile, I have spent much of the day trying to get tech support for the Dyson app that goes with my new air purifier. It shows my bedroom temperature as "30 degrees" which makes sense neither for Fahrenheit or Celsius, and it shows the humidity as zero, rather than the actual 53-56% it's been today, and it also shows zero values for all four pollutants. The Google Play website where I downloaded it gave a UK email address for customer support, so I exchanged several emails with them, before they concluded that I'm in the US and need to go elsewhere. The website they sent me to had a chat function that didn't work. I'm now trying to use the chat function within the app...
