Day 462: Very warm Sunday

Today got into the 90s, and J's house was still 83 after midnight. Whee! He's okay with it very hot in his house, but I'm not, so we spent part of the evening outside and the rest at my house. Even at mid-day, it was quite warm at sword class in the park. J. did his best to stay in the shade. I walked down there and back and was grateful to have a nice, cool house to return to.

D. spent the afternoon with his dad for Father's Day. R. admired my new car and gave me a check for pretty much what he owed me. We still have life insurance that's auto-billed to my checking account, so his half of that will accumulate, but I don't mind.
