Day 452: New car

Today I took delivery of my new Camry. It's a different shade of blue than the one at the other dealership - darker and not sparkly - although they both have the same color name. I like mine better, but J. misses the sparkles. Also there isn't much visibility through the back window compared to our older cars, which I found out when I drove it for the first time. I went downtown to pick up two library books, and on the major street there, a police car with sirens going came up right behind me - I had to figure out how to change lanes in a hurry, with minimal visibility. That's going to take some getting used to! Another police car surprised us by coming across at the cross-street, which showed me that the brakes are fine.
