Day 450: Paper accepted
Jun. 8th, 2021 11:52 pmMy latest cost-effectiveness analysis (for an eating disorder prevention program) has been accepted by a prestigious journal, Prevention Science. They'd made oodles of comments in the first review, and our response was 12 pages long, but they've accepted the second version with no further edits ("The authors have strengthened the already impressive manuscript..."). Yay!
Meanwhile, however, it's now five weeks since the publisher expected to decide about my book within two to three weeks. I find that I sleep better on the weekends, with no serious prospect of an exciting decision email to wake up to.
I finally got the planter boxes planted today, at least a month since I bought the plants - my soil pile is so overgrown with wild geranium, grass, and ivy that it took me this long to dig up enough soil for the project.
