Day 442: Memorial Day

eve_primeWe very happily spent our holiday with friends. First I cut some roses and rushed up to the cemetery to leave flowers for my step-dad and his first wife, and for my high school friend Tim (my best friend's summer boyfriend one year). Then I came back and helped J. set up the chairs and tables, and at 2:30 pm, DG and AA came over, and we sat outside and relaxed for hours. We ate a bunch, then when the sun got into DG's eyes, we moved to a different shady spot on the lawn and relaxed for hours more. They finally headed home around 9:20 p.m. It's good to talk with friends for hours.
