Day 423: Moderna-done

Today I got my second vaccine, at 5 pm. I was so excited last night that I didn't get much sleep, but fortunately I managed not to be napping when 5 pm rolled around. And I was all done by 5:20 pm. The pharmacist who administered the vaccine did even better than the previous one - I barely felt it. (She gave me a kit-kat bar too!) And although my arm is a bit sore, it's now 4-1/2 hours post-vaccine and it's no big deal. I sure hope my side effects will be minimal! In either case, I'm basically taking tomorrow "off" to relax and recuperate.

This time, my cozy comfort book was The Fairy Godmother, by Mercedes Lackey - a fun and relaxing read. J. read outside with me afterwards (it was 84 degrees!), and Blitzen watched us from about 6' away, when she wasn't being harassed by Parker or Theo.
