Day 414: Pfizer side effects

eve_primeLast night, both J. and D. had sore arms, D's increasingly so, but they seemed normal enough otherwise. Today was different. J. woke with a sore throat and congestion, though his arm was somewhat better, then around 1 pm he started to feel much worse - getting out of his chair was pretty effortful and he felt sick enough that he was comparing it with the 'flu.
D. was much worse. He wasn't able to sleep last night and had bad chills, then around 4 am he emailed his morning class instructor to say he wouldn't be attending. He went back to bed, eventually sleeping more, then woke with a really bad headache. He did attend his two afternoon classes and ate a bit, and did some homework, then around 9:30 or 10 pm he had a heavy ache in his chest (which worried him) but took a nap until just before 1 am*, when he woke, hungry. His arm has felt fine today, though. I made him some pasta and he went back to bed.
