Day 378: Rainy day with music

eve_primeToday was one of the Sundays where I cozily spend three hours on an online concert by the Santa Rosa Symphony. There's a preconcert talk, the concert itself, and post-concert Q&A session. It was all fun, although Ajani got impatient and meowed a bunch through the Brahms 2nd Serenade. I could also hear branches scraping against the window in gusts of wind before the evening's rainstorm.
J. and I went to Safeway, as we do on Sundays, and this week's deal was spend $100 and save $10. We kept track as we put things into the cart and weren't very much over $100, so J. thought the right thing to do was to plan to buy a candy bar if it came short, but the clerk pressed the button that makes it all final too quickly, and we'd spent $99.42, which was annoying.
Other than that, the day has been cheerful, if not productive. I did get an email off to J's mom; she'd emailed me on March 7th, 13th, and 19th, and even one day when my email was half-written. Now I just owe a letter to my sister...
