Day 373: Fun day!

Today we had beautiful weather, and I did several things that were either fun or otherwise rewarding. First, I took D. to get his allergy shot, and while he was there I got to walk to the library to pick up two books. Then I got to sign my mom's personal tax filing (as compared with her estate tax filing, which can now proceed), which was a nice milestone. And then we got to go on a walk with our friends DG and AA, whom we hadn't seen for at least two weeks! This time we went northwest and showed them the house we'd been interested in on Olive Street, then we walked through the back side of the Catholic cemetery and saw a hawk! It roosted on a tree long enough for J. to photograph it from several angles. Then we walked around the houses on the hills to the west of our houses - not the top of the hills, by any means, but still nicer homes than most around us. Then I got to make my simple "Lebanese meatball" dish, which was tasty, and then J. and I played our Spire with Friends game that we've been enjoying lately. I started reading a new book, and I watched bits of Poldark and Rick Steves episodes I'd seen before (George almost got Drake and Sam hanged but failed, and Rick visited the back streets of Rome).
