Day 370: Saturday
Mar. 20th, 2021 11:55 pmJ's day was full - his sword teacher was part of a University of the Sword event, with four other North American long sword teachers, all on Zoom. I caught the very end of the last event, and it was interesting - what the man was saying about sword fights generally having a timing of one - one - one but sometimes you can put in a half-half in place of a one, it reminded me of Francesco's talk about four-beat phrasing in music. J. wasn't feeling well and got worn out, though, and semi-napped through the last two talks. In the evening, he had three hours of Rolemaster, too.
I worked on the yard and that cost analysis paper in the afternoon, and during J's Rolemaster I went on a walk down to the park (it had stopped raining), and also listened to the Schubert cello quintet again while working on some writing. Later we had the anime.
I'm concerned about one of my furry friends - Hiram's long-haired male cat Skelly, who follows me up and down the street and makes friends with all the passers-by. He's been looking scruffy all week, and this evening he curled up on my doormat in a small ball and doesn't want to budge. I'd be impressed if he gets better - I only hope he's not contagious for the other cats. Poor dear.
