Day 362: Stardust

eve_primeToday's fun Friday evening movie was Stardust, which I love, and it was fun since it had been so long since I've seen it that I'd forgotten about the ghosts of the dead princes and how our couple defeats the witch. J had only seen it once and it all felt new to him. I'd previously set the book aside to read to him at some point, which I'm looking forward to as well.
I'm trying to dig up the "landscape fabric" or whatever it's called that the previous owners had put along the edge of the driveway, beside my picket fence, so that I can plant seeds there. It had been there so long that it was pointless - covered with grass and weeds. It's a lot of work. Maybe a sharper shovel would help. So that was some exercise today, plus J. and I went on a walk in the nice weather, which included a conversation with our rather lonely neighbor M. His wife is an ICU nurse so he barely sees her.
Our state is so fortunate. We have had among the lowest COVID rates in the United States. Our Democrat governor has done a good job of looking out for us.
