Day 345: Tuesday, a bit tiresome

eve_primeToday was kind of excessively full. Meetings for work, then a meeting for youth orchestras (a potential new board member), then finally I could rush downtown to return a library book and pick up a new one. On my way home, I bought vitamins, some nice bread, some soup for Friday, and a burrito, which I ate while watching the beginning of a Hallmark mystery I'd recorded a week ago.
I was about to start work on the paper edits I'd promised a coworker, but he reminded me it was game night for the group he plays with online, so I went over there and we played the game I most enjoy that they do, called "Blather Round." I'm not very good at it, but ended up winning the fifth game - J won two and the hostess won two, and there were, hm, one or two other players in each. That was fun.
Then I went home to do the editing, which took rather longer than I expected, but when I was finally done, J. announced that he was going to do some Magic online with DG. So I watched more of the Hallmark movie and typed up some thoughts I'd had today for a new paper. Oh well.
One fun thing was that David came out and told me he'd successfully done some video game streaming! He streamed the beginning of Dark Souls II, and of course his only real viewer was his girlfriend. Hm, it occurs to me that extensive monologuing is a skill that could be useful for teaching.
