Day 344: Relatively productive
Feb. 22nd, 2021 11:50 pmThis afternoon I wrote a rather light blog post, then I got down to work and did most of the finalization for my third try with this manuscript that the journal keeps sending back for frustrating reasons. (One reviewer is fine with it; the other is trying to force me into writing about her topic instead, and she's somehow convinced the editor to side with her.) I'm happy with the manuscript and even got it down to the right length, after adding a bunch of new stuff, but the 7-page single-spaced cover letter is trickier.
I also watched half of a science documentary about a chemist, Percy Julian, who was one of the most accomplished African Americans of the first half of the 20th century.
