Finally! Book completed

Binti: The Night Masquerade, by Nnedi Okorafor. I started this book last year after finishing the second in the trilogy, but it was too upsetting/intense. So I gave up and turned it in. I then checked it out as an e-book, which took a while to do because there's a lot of demand for it, I suppose, but once I had it I procrastinated and didn't start it. Then I requested it again and finally got it, and now I have made myself read it, for the sake of reading it. At the beginning, everything is horrible. Her entire family is dead and a war is happening. Then Binti does brave things but gets killed. But then it turns out her family is fine, and then she's brought back to life. By the end, everything is fine. The author is very creative, but I don't need my reading experiences to be that extreme.
