Day 335: Variety

eve_primeIt was nice to do some different things today. First, I went to my office to print papers; I hadn't been there for a couple of weeks. After I got home, D. and I walked over to Safeway together. I'd barely seen him this week, so last night I knocked on his door and said so. He agreed, and said he was running out of food ideas. So today we found more frozen entrees he was willing to try and also some frozen chicken strips. I also suggested some recipes and mentioned the few things we don't have in terms of equipment; maybe he'll consider more ambitious cooking at some point?
In the evening, I spent almost half an hour in the hot tub, ostensibly removing a few visible flecks of what I suppose had once been bits of leaves. It was quite nice. I also sorted more books and came across the one with an essay by Ursula Le Guin that I find especially aggravating, so I discussed it with J (again) and realized it would adapt itself well to a blog post I'd wanted to write, so I jotted down a bunch of notes for that. We made another attempt to do a run through Hades in under 15 minutes and missed our goal by 18 seconds. And we had Saturday night anime. The current shows are something strange about mechas called SSSS.Gridman, good old Naruto Shippuden (we saw episode 327 out of 500), Assassination Classroom, and after a few month's absence, the return of Black Clover.
