The Rosie Effect, by Graeme Simsion. A reread, but I remembered almost nothing of it, just the basic premise. Our highly competent yet very-not-neurotypical protagonist and his wife Rosie are living in New York, and she becomes pregnant and worries that he won't be able to be a good dad. Of course he will, but it takes almost the entire book for her to realize it.
