Day 325: Neighbors and friends

eve_primeNo rain today - sunny! I went out twice around the neighborhood.
My friend T, who's in her first year of teaching, has children returning to the classroom tomorrow. I can't remember whether it's kindergarten or first grade, but she'll have 13 of them, and she'll have to keep them 6' apart in the classroom and at recess. (She only got one vaccination, and it was on Saturday so hasn't taken full effect yet, so her younger son, who still lives at home, is off to live with his grandma until T's fully vaccinated.) This afternoon I took two "swimming pool noodles" over there to serve as visual guides to the kids on proper distancing.
Then, when J's work day was done, we went on a walk. It was a bit cold outside, and first he tried to set up the trickle charger on my car battery without a glove on, so his hand got very cold, then after the walk he stayed cold for hours and still isn't entirely comfortable. (I wasn't cold at all.) Anyway, we saw my other friend BHW, who was walking her dog, and we chatted a while. Fun!
