Day 302: Brain fog
Jan. 11th, 2021 11:51 pmLast night, just before bedtime, I had a flash of a potentially great idea - an initiative that would combine both my ORI research and my UO research - and so naturally I couldn't sleep. After an hour I turned on the light and typed up everything in my head, but after the light was back out I still had to keep writing new ideas down on a pad of paper in the dark. And then I barely got six hours' sleep, which meant I wasn't much use today.
I did get to do some exercise, though. J's sword class teacher has decided to teach stretches and movements on Mondays, and last week only J. showed up, so he said I'd be welcome to participate as well. This week there were the two of us, the teacher, and a third student. It was probably the only exercise class I've ever had as an adult! Generally fun, but the stretches he had us do at the end weren't the stretches I needed. When the pandemic is over and people resume doing things in person, I'll miss these opportunities I wouldn't have had otherwise.
