eve_primeToday I went to the office to print and copy, and as I was leaving I almost literally ran into someone in the hallway, I assume Lisa S though it was dark and the encounter so brief - it was strange to come so close to someone there. I also went to the library and picked up two more books on hold, then I got home in time to see J. briefly before his Rolemaster gaming session.
In the evening, while he played his game, I started working properly on the really cool new paper I'm writing. I took three breaks, I guess - one to make more progress on cleaning the kittens' room, one to apply for two jobs for the week (to qualify for my unemployment check), and one to listen to the third symphony by Ellen Taaffe Zwilich, whom I'm going to hear a lot of in the next few months. Her symphony was only ~20 minutes long. Modern symphonies seem so strange when I'm used to earlier works. After that, J. and I played more Hades and watched two anime episodes.
