Read, read, read
Jul. 25th, 2005 08:31 pmI got rather less work done today than previous days (sinus headache) but did do a fair amount of reading after Kindermusik. I finished both The Gardens of Light and Under the Tuscan Sun, then spent a while looking through my "sun book" stack to pick out something new. Having just finished one book with a female narrator in Tuscany and another about an ascetic religious artist, it was not really a surprise that I ended up starting The Birth of Venus, a recent novel set in Tuscany, with a female narrator and an ascetic religious artist, ha ha -- this one set in the Renaissance. I also grilled some buffalo burgers again -- a good way to sidestep "mad cow" issues.
