Oh thank heaven (for 7/11)

After washing our cars (DH washed his properly; I just hosed off some of the moss on mine), we all went down to the park, where D. rode his new bike 'round and 'round. There were lots of red dragonflies near the creek, and even more blue damselflies. The western tiger swallowtail butterflies weren't interested in the creek and seemed to prefer getting their moisture from the damp playground sand:


I also ordered stuff for D's birthday party. If you want a theme party (Scooby-Doo, anyone? SpongeBob luau?), Birthday Express has tons of great stuff.
