Hasta la vista
Apr. 18th, 2016 11:02 pmJ. is now on a plane for London, en route to Spain, and things will be quieter around here for several days, at least until Friday when the Pro Tour starts. We're hoping it doesn't rain as much in Madrid as the forecast suggests, since he'd like to do sightseeing. I have to say, the national archaeology museum sounds even more interesting to me than the Prado...
Meanwhile, this evening I sat in on the Youth Symphony rehearsal again. Tonight I got to hear Schubert's Unfinished Symphony and Berlioz's Rákóczi March. I only got to talk with one of the students, but it probably doesn't matter, as I'm betting we'll decide tomorrow that we're perfectly happy with this conductor.
