There's much, much to say about the two parties, but I'm tired now and don't expect much to happen tomorrow, so I think I'll write about the parties then, and for now just relax with Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. If the first book was Pride and Prejudice, this one is, I'm surprised to find, Persuasion. Last night, I read a taped interview that appears about halfway through the book, and I was laughing so hard! Quietly, that is, but it was hysterical.
