Dinosaur party in brief
Aug. 1st, 2004 08:53 pmWe were at Tugman park, in the shade of some ash trees, between 4 and 6 p.m. Party attendance totalled 29: one guest of honor, 9 primary invitees, 3 older siblings, and 16 adults, including me and R; these represented preschool, Kindermusik, and family. The highlight was the sand volcano erupting onto a moderately large styracosaurus. Also dinosaur-themed were the cake, the decorations (the aforementioned styracosaurus and two other dinosaurs sent to D. by DH, which were on the table looming over the cake), the paper plates, and the party favor bags (stickers, small plastic dinosaurs, dinosaur fruit snacks, and a small glow-in-the-dark lizard). A bit too drained to write more at present, but it was a good time.
