This Rough Magic, by Mary Stewart. It's another of my favorites of hers. This one's set on the eastern side of Corfu. Lucy's staying with her sister, whose husband's family owns a castle set above a little bay. The castle's rented out to a famous Shakespearean actor whom Lucy idolizes; Lucy and her sister are living in another building on the property. There are two other Englishmen in the story, several Greeks, and a lovely dolphin. Oh, and a nice white cat, and lots of references to "The Tempest."

(I'm being cozy in J's house; he's out playing Magic with DG downtown. It's raining quite hard outside!)
