Day 330: *yawn*

Today I got up "early" to attend scientist council (a monthly meeting at work, for those of us who are scientists). About a quarter of us didn't have our cameras on, which was fine; they have it set up so that when there's a straw poll, it appears on the screen as options to click and we don't have to raise our hands to be counted.

By the way, it's nice to be on the Oregon Health Plan (the free insurance for those of us with very low incomes) - the insurance company my employer's contracted with last year and this year sounds like an utter nightmare.

The rest of the day was mostly cleaning and such, but I did email my agent, who contacted the editor at the publishing company that's considering my book, and it sounds like they'll probably have some idea this week.

Tomorrow maybe I'll deal with my car battery...
