Day 227: History class

This evening I got to visit J's sword class, which was a lecture by their highly informed swordmaster, about the 15th century manuscripts that are the foundations of their school. Fascinating! It's very cool that the swordmaster is also a scholar. In two weeks he's going to give a talk on "A day in the life of a condotierre."

Today I made a blog post on "America's irony problem," and I attended two meetings, did more cleaning (the path from the gate to the crawlspace, through the blackberry thicket, is now clear), and watched American Ninja Warrior, which has begun the finals of their pandemic season.
