Everywhere, slush
Jan. 9th, 2017 07:27 pmFinally things are thawing, although there's more snow in the forecast for Wednesday (and I am trying hard not to realize how close "Wednesday" is). Feeling a bit stir-crazy, I decided to walk all the way to the post office to get D's school photo and concert CD into the mail for his grandparents. It's not that far, except that there's a hill in the way, and since there's all that slush and perhaps some ice I walked the whole way with little steps. Tiring!
My ambition had been to maybe keep going four or five blocks beyond the post office to the shopping center, but it was dusk when I got done mailing the package, and rush hour, and I wasn't up to it after all. Instead I went back to the post office and waited for J. to pick me up on his way home from work, which also let us pick D. up from his girlfriend's house. I hope tomorrow will be a good day to get my car battery recharged.
Also, the hot tub repair guy came today, so that's an option again!
