Pet peeve time

Guy #2’s bag: “I’ll correct your grammar in public.”
Girl: “I’m a copy-editor. I’ll correct my own grammar.”
Host: “Yeah, what is that?”
Guy #2: “Oh, it’s kind of a joke between my friends and I...”
And then there’s me, the viewer, wishing Girl would speak up right then.
