Today’s big snow adventure

J. and I had a fun adventure, though, hiking the two-mile round trip to his apartment via a looping route. We cleared the snow off his car and collected his phone charger and a book I wanted to read to D, then headed back. The sun had set and we could see Venus; I even captured her in a photograph. We’d been gone for more than an hour at that point so D. called to check on us, but we were fine. We stopped at Safeway, too. Finally we were back in the house, reunited with the kittens and D.
