One of those days

I am busy sharpening pencils – the first round of #2s for the school year (D. goes through two dozen, easily), and then last year’s now-blunt colored pencil set. I spent a large chunk of the day in pursuit of school supplies, and I expect individual teachers may yet ask for more. Tomorrow I may buy a very pretty guitar I saw on craiglist. Hopefully we won’t have to keep buying him a new instrument every fall!

(He’ll still be doing clarinet too, for Band 3; Guitar is his second elective this year.)
