Well, this afternoon, when I thought I was wrapping up the analyses in my dissertation’s Results section, I discovered that my data file had a messy, jumbling problem. It didn’t take terribly long to reconstruct the file correctly, but unfortunately it turned out that my nice, elegant, interesting findings were from the wrong data. So I’ve spent hours coming up with the corrected findings. They’re neither interesting nor elegant. It’s going to take some time to assimilate this.
I did take a few brain-clearing breaks: for Eureka, walking in the springtime weather with T. and Chong, and reading to D.
Best thing in my day: D. is now writing a novel!
