Finally, a day off

I seem to have taken the day off from work today, or maybe my allergies decided it for me. D’s basketball game was fairly early, then I pretty much spent the afternoon on the couch doing things like catching up on Facebook and reading Cracked.com lists (six modern playgrounds that will make your inner child jealous, anyone?). After D. left for the evening, I focused on housework plus a “feel-good” movie (Hallmark Hall of Fame, of course), about a teacher trying to get his learning-disabled students to Space Camp. I should go on a walk (Mars is probably up by now), but remaining on this couch is tempting!
