Busy Friday
Feb. 3rd, 2012 10:27 pmI’m making good progress on the second proposal, and still working on the metaphors paper too.
Meanwhile, it was a busy day, mom-wise: I picked D. up from school when he had to go back for his backpack, ate pizza with him and learned exactly why diet cola + mentos makes a fizzy explosion, played several rounds of his new vigorous game to practice rebounding in the livingroom, listened to his part of the new band music they’re playing (which we both quite like), and read him a chapter of Year of the Griffin.
Congrats to J, who defended his dissertation proposal this morning and has now advanced to candidacy.
