D’s team, which did so abysmally in the placement jamboree, has now won the first game of the season! It’s not even as close as it sounds, either, because at the half it was 10-0, and the other team scored a 3-point basket at the final buzzer. Also, the other team had three extra players, whereas the sixth player for our team didn’t show up, so we had five very tired kids by the end.

When we came out of the gym, there was a gorgeous 360̊ sunset. Oregon has amazing winter sunsets, that is, when it’s not foggy or raining. I was going to go on a walk for some exercise, but it’s awfully nice to be cozily here on the couch, rewatching Downton season one.
