Two neat things

One great thing about kids getting older is that books that were once bewildering can become fun. Last time we tried reading Dark Lord of Derkholm, D. was overwhelmed and wouldn’t let me get past the first chapter. Tonight, though, we made it through the first two, and now he wants to draw the griffin-children for me.

Another cool thing is the first glimmerings of results from my dissertation study. I can’t write about them here, since I’m still collecting data, but I can say that the student pool dataset is very interesting!
