Cozy Friday evening

More proposal work, and a dab more dissertation work. I dropped in at the company holiday party for half an hour, long enough to eat some chicken piccata and salad and to watch one of my co-workers, a professional belly dancer, do a sword dance that involved balancing two scimitars atop her head. When I told D. about it later, he was quite blasé; he’d seen another woman do it in an assembly at school last year.

Now, inspired by melisser, I’m rewatching Downton Abbey. Just in time for the new season! Otherwise, I think I'd be rewatching the 90's Mothra movies; this seems more fun.
