Easter shopping: Done!

Finally. D is getting a whole lot of candy, some Hot Wheels, the Charlotte's Web DVD, and two or three books: HP and the Chamber of Secrets, The Phantom Tollbooth, and From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, or I might keep that last one for myself. I also bought the eggs we'll dye late this afternoon, and some asparagus so I can make an asparagus frittata for Easter brunch.

While at Black Sun Books, I also got two for me. Providence of a Sparrow: Lessons from a Life Gone to the Birds by Chris Chester is Eugene's Reading in the Rain book this year, and The World of the Kalapuya, about our native people here, looks pretty different from the other book I have about them.
