This would have been fun tonight: "The Unicorn: Medieval French Love Songs," a concert featuring Anne Azéma (vocals) and Shira Kammen (vielle/rebec/harp). I had nowhere near enough energy though. (Nor, probably, for tomorrow night's lunar eclipse star party.) I should try to remember to listen to sound clips on amazon.com. Another free medieval music concert at the UO this fall is "The Music that Petrarch Knew," by Fortune's Wheel on November 6.
