It really seems that Oregon isn’t subject to the honeybee decline the way that much of the U.S. is. At least, when I’m watching them on the clover in the lawn, there are dozens, and surely this isn’t just a fraction of what there used to be?

I realized that my filing system is still based around my first year of grad school; no wonder I’m not using it. Time for an overhaul.

Also, it’s about time to go through the 140-some library books I’ve got in here and see how many I can get rid of. I’ll try for 20.

Meanwhile, I came across a No.1 Ladies novel I’d bought a few months ago and hadn’t read yet. “Mr. Molofololo” is a lovely name.

The Hagrid in Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 is a much more competent magician than he is in the books.
