The day after Thursday the 12th

Actually it was fine, I suppose.

Last year, workers came and dribbled tar in all the cracks on the streets in our neighborhood. They'd put up notices that they were going to do it again, but in fact, they actually repaved our street today! It's pretty.

As part of the process of clearing the street, I moved the Volvo into the driveway yesterday and washed it. There's still some moss, but it's not bad. Now it doesn't look derelict. I should wash the Camry too.

On two separate occasions I had some kind of bug briefly scurrying on my bed. Ick. An earwig came in with the morning paper, and later there was some kind of weevil or beetle.

It's definitely fun to watch Tom & Jerry with D. He appreciates it so much.
