An exceptionally rainy Father's Day

I’ve now made it through my first fatherless Father’s Day. R. enjoyed breakfast out with our boys, and then we watched Alice in Wonderland before going our separate ways for the rest of the afternoon (homeward for B., errands for R. and me, and a play date for D.). Later, the three of us watched the second episode of Unnatural History, a new series about the teens of “Smithson High” solving historical/archaeological mysteries.
Last night I watched one of those long Indian movies, though it was in Tamil, not Hindi, and thus not Bollywood. It was Kandukondain Kandukondain (I Have Found It), a modern retelling of Sense and Sensibility. The locations were beautiful, the guy who played the Edward Ferrars equivalent was adorable, and I want Aishwarya Rai’s hair.
