Progress with monsters

eve_primeToday I really enjoyed making progress in Strangers, Gods and Monsters by Richard Kearney, a philosopher recommended to me by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
owl_of_minerva. I like his perspective on "the sublime," which is closely related to "sense of wonder," a topic I've been exploring quite a bit lately. I also like the references to the relationship between ethics and narrative, something I want to know a lot more about.
(Also today I enjoyed making progress in Diablo II with our most recent characters, Tesla (my lightning amazon) and Zelstratha (fractal9091's necromancer). We completed Act I of nightmare mode. It was fun to think about alterity and duality while romping on the monsters.)
