I didn't make it to the Bach organ recital this evening - I was too busy being enraptured with our new 42" HDTV! R. picked it up, then I hooked it up and we watched the first half of the Ducks game. DH then came over and helped us with the DVD setup and the settings. Then we watched the first half of one of our favorite movies, The Fifth Element. NYC was super cool! The sparkling elements at the end were really beautiful, as was the planet Phloston (we'd never been able to see the islands on it before), and the explosion inside the hotel - gorgeous! We then watched the second half of Superman Returns (before our on-demand usage expired and we had to start over), then the rest of The Fifth Element. We are dazzled. Next I need to call Comcast so we can see TV channels in high-def too.
